What happened.........

It's cloudy and dewy in my yard today. What happened? Yesterday I was lying in the sun and feeling the warmth. I snoozed and ate biscuits and snoozed some more. And today............I guess I can still have the biscuits but that warm snooze is no longer with me. It's all right though because I know there will more days of warm snooze.

Just Humans

I've been reading some of the other blogs that I follow and durn it, everybody is human. I wish some other dog would write a blog. I don't understand a lot of this human stuff but......if another dog would write I would become estatic.

It snowed today and I went outside and made angels in the snow. Stuck my nose and closed eyes and plowed around it the white, fluffy stuff. Cleans my eyes and I blow my nose in it. Well, if you were a dog, could you use a Kleenex? I really don't see that happening.

I didn't stay out long--would have liked to but Mom made me come in. I came running up to the porch and went inside and shook snow and water all over the chair and carpet. I love doing that. Doesn't bother her as much as it used to, but I do it anyway. Then I lick all the snow and water off me feet and do it very loudly so she can hear what I am doing. I love to try and upset her.

Time to go to sleep. Had and good day a doggie day care and have a full tummy and lots of good rubs from Mom. Sweet dreams everyone. Don't forget to say your prayers! !

Outside

I'm outside today in some new snow--barking and barking. Earlier a little girl and her mother came into my run. The little girl likes to hug me. The mother watches and then she pats me on the head to show the little girl what I like. The little girl hugs me. So much for patting me on the head. You know, she just hugs and hugs me. I really like some hugs, but this is too much. I walk away but the little girl follows me. Oh no, so more hugs. Hey, mother, call this little girl--give her a treat. I really like hugs but............Oh, good they have decided to leave. Understand, I love little girls and hugs, but I do need to have time to do some "just observing."

Oh, look a flicker. A kind of woodpecker for those who are not aficionados of birds. He is tapping on an old elm tree, looking for bugs, his favorite food. Speaking of food, her comes Mom with a biscuit. Loving it. Ooops dropped in the snow, it's all right, got it within the 3 minute rule. Don't ask about the rule. Check it out on the web. Crunch, crunch. That biscuit was excellent. My mouth and my tummy are in heaven. Not litterally. I would look funny without a mouth and tummy--don't even go there.

Think I am in the mood to ramble, time look around some more. Bark, bark. Talk to you later. Bye friends.

Vikings Rule

Oh my gosh ! Mom is outside decorating the front of the house with all her Viking football memorabilia--big word for a dog--consulted dictionary again. I guess there must be an important football game coming up. One of the biscuit people said to her a week ago, "Who do the Vikings play?" She told them and evidently the Vikings won. And now they are playing again tomorrow. She always puts me outside because she does a lot of jumping up and down, and yelling and I think she is upset. Well, sometimes she is but sometimes she is happy and excited. I just can't tell the difference. So, I come up to her concerned but she is too busy watching the crazy guys play football. I would rather be outside because she is so awfully noisy and I can't sleep. And I like it outside.

Are there any other dogs at blogspot that would like to talk with me. I sometimes have difficulty understanding humans, particularly the one I am living with.

I Feel Pretty......Oh So Pretty....

Hi there. I really do feel pretty. I went to the groomer's today and had her wash, blow dry and trim my coat. I look pretty. BUT...Mom did let me go into my run for a short time. I was careful and didn't get any mud on me. She had put some money in my Christmas stocking and I spent it on looking pretty. Oh, boy, do I look pretty. I think Mom is going to take me for a short walk tomorrow so I can show off how beautiful I look. I will, of course, have to continue to sniff everything but will strut myself and show off my gorgeous white clean coat. Then maybe I can roll in the grey, snow. But I will always be pretty from the heart.

The Biscuit People

Just wanted to let you know I really can spell. I just have trouble with the keyboard sometimes because my paws are so big. Earlier in my blog I talked about the my friends that throw me biscuits and I titled my blog The Buscuit People. Well, see what I mean, look at the keys on the keyboard. That letter U is right Next to the letter I. My paw slipped over. Wonder if Microsoft or whoever could design a keyboard that a large dog could use. If "BIG" dogs have "BIG" collars and "Big" food bowls, why couldn't someone develop a "BIG" keyboard for "BIG" dogs?

If Windows 7, came from the ideas of all the people on the tele, then a "BIG" keyboard came from me--a beautiful, white , big, female, Great Pyrennes dog.

An Unwelcomed Visitor

What is it Mom? I thought I saw something and I ran and looked under the dining table. What is it Mom? I'm going to stand here and watch and see if it appears again. What do you mean get it? What is it? I'm looking and I don't see anything. Will it bite me? What is it Mom? I don't see it. I'm smelling around and I know it has been here. Where did it go? It sure must run fast. Must be awfully small. I think it has hair like me. Is it as big as me? No, if it was, I could see it. What's a mouse? Will it eat my food? I'll get that mouse. I could wait and wait but you know this is getting really boring. It must have gone to sleep. Mom, it's not here anymore. You're just going to have to put up with it until someone comes and gets it. I need to go to bed. No, Mom, it's not going to bite you. Just go to bed and your friend will take care of it. Yes, I know you had one in the bedroom and it ran over your arm, but this one isn't very brave. That's why it's hiding. Just go to bed and things will be better tomorrow. Goodnight, Mom.............and mouse.
